i did some mistake on it tho, did not swap over the altenstor, did not swap over the throttle cable, did not swap over the engine mount bracket.

now only need hubs and brake back in postion, interior bits, coilover.
car can drive next week.:drive:

i think the TDC dont line up because someone dialed in couple degrees of advanced timing?

Right,
go to look at the car today (it just next to my unit)
we finished up some bit and bobs i.e. bleed the spoon calipers, and start the car.

all i got the car not turn over. look around 15mins, can't find what happen.
we fit the ek9 ecu back, no start.:please:
we fit the dc2 p73 ecu, no start.:please:
thought the battery was flat, so just it with my heavy duty booster, no start:please:
onces it turn the key, nothing happen.
than i remember one little things. earth wire. i put 3 more earth from block to battery to chassis. ITS START. thanks GOD:thanks:

than something un-usual happen. we use the UK dc2 (p73) ecu the start the car. its start !! i thought it have alarm thingy in side ?? dont know why ??

anyway, all good now, my mate can save him self a little bit for no need to buy another ecu:clap:

stupid me, i got the iphone 4 this morning ( q for 4 fuc*ing hours) but i did not use it to take a single photo !! sorry guys.:(

I dont suppose that engine with the Spoon rocker cover is off a yellow UKDM DC2 with a red engine bay .. broken a few months back?

glad you got it started in the end, great build so far, look forward to seeing more progress on it :)

That is bro, they get the car off Paul.

The car was good, and was racing in Jap fest 2 last time. But now the speedo don't work, and vtec not kicks in....:(

Hate to tell you mate but I know the previous owner prior to it being sold to the breakers yard...

That engine is Bo110xed... I can even tell you that the rocker cover looks like it was sprayed, had a handful of sand thrown on it then sprayed over again?

The last time I was chasing that car along a B-road I had to turn my heater on recirculate and my eyes were STILL watering, I had to pull back. It drunk 1 litre of oil in like 100 miles.

VTEC was engaging at the time though but it was tempermental. Sorry to be the one to break it to you man.

Werd. Sorry to hear this engine endedup with you! From what I heard it use to run a custom ecu (maybe spoon?) but it was stolen in HK.

Small world =s.

Used to have a Spoon which is no biggy but it was hooked up to a VAFC which is bad news.

nice build you have there mate very impreesive what you done :)
