hellaflush / stance

When will this scene die. Please just f#cking diiieee!!!!!!!!!

its only just got started, these cars are on air ride mostly...so are just as practical, all of these stances are just for the show

Lol so stupid! I hate all this stance bollocks, nobody looks at a "stanced" car and say that is stunning! They say "need moar lows, need moar stretch, need moar dish" ahh f*ck off ya' bellends!!

Ahhh well to be honest, i used to care. I used to think it mattered in which direction the Honda culture was going in. I always wanted it to be very focussed on the actual driving aspect. These Hondas are just incredible to blat around a track. I adore my DC2 because it gives me so much feedback and confidence. You seem to be too focussed on how it looks over how it drives. This is something that will change when you start pushing your "track civic (LAWL)" round a curcuit. If your anything like me anyway you just want to go faster and faster. These scene kids may say 'well i cant afford to track my car'. My response is if i couldn't afford to track my DC2 i would sell it in a second. I would buy a 125cc kart and rip that around instead. My focus is on driving not on how cool i look in my stupid low hatchback. And actually when you look at how much they spend on stupid over priced parts you just think what a waste!! Anyways i live in my own little bubble now. Couldn't care what the majority is doing and never really have if i am honest. I look after my mates and if i see them going down wrong paths i will try and pursuade them otherwise but dont get me wrong i know this is all in my opinion. To be honest though all my friends love driving and cba with the scene **** either so its all good :).

Can i jump that bubble too? :D
I hate it when people stance a type r or s2k fair enough ruin a 1.4 but to ruin an awsome driving car pointless!

Haha Fez ofcourse :).

Its all just about fun isn't it really! We choose our hobbies, how we spend our free time and money. I just can't see the fun or Return on investment like you can with a well prept little track car. My Mrs secretly hates my DC2 because she knows if i am annoyed she cant help me but a 5 minute blast in the dc2 and i am happy as funk again!!

I cant see why people are getting so upset and concerned over a subject that doesnt concern you if you dont like it. Im not fond of it myself but I dont just jump on the bandwagon of "HATERS" (just as the Honda "scene" love to go on about).

Personally I couldnt care what other people do to their cars the only car im interested in is my own. I'm not in it for a "scene" its nice to feel like you belong to an owners club and to see what others are doing but "scene"? The so called "scene" died a long time ago especially in the UK. Car culture in general died.

the direction of honda culture? its a car hondas are reknown for being owned by old people, are you going to rage at old grannies for having a fish christianity sticker on the back?....man thats not track...poor honda, and in response to i cant afford a track car...thats not atall true, its your own personal preference, instead of moaning about how theirs looks how about just look at the ones u want to see,

although hondas may be good to rag around a track, its still a honda if u want a track car buy a car track ready, a car designed to be track....i bet you cant afford one can you....which is why u make do with what u have,

little honda hot hatches, or any other make just because ek9s are rare and nippy doesnt make them a track car, its a quick road hatch....by no means is it fast.

if u dont like it...dont greet about it and click the back button and say something nice about a car you do like

Wow way to stereotype never seen that done before......

Funny how the Honda Civic is (fact) thee most modified car in the world, way to go grannys keep up the good work.

You go grab a granny if you want mate, no one else seemed to mention one.

Nobody cares if you can, but you just lowered yourself to their level with this style of post.

I almost entirely agree with this although giving your opinion on someone elses car is not against the law.

Have you ever even once looked into Honda's Racing Heritage?

If you knew anything a lot of Honda's R & D and racing technology went into designing and building the early Type-R breed including the NSX EK9 and DC2. These cars were designed on track to go round a track by you guessed it pro race drivers.

Define what makes a track car? You think its speed? because your depiction seems to assume the best track car is one that has the most power, however in the real world thats not the case.

If you knew anything about racing you would know that race events are not about who has the fastest car, its involves cars of the same class racing for the top spot, you could have a race series with bone stock reliant robins if it tickled your fancy.

if u dont like it...dont greet about it and click the back button and say something nice about a car you do like

Stop taking the internet so serious people will try and wind you up just for sh!ts and giggs.

im not even wound up, have u not had your eyes open...ive heard many times that hondas as a trend are brought by old people, top gear fifth gear both make references. and i wasnt on about civics, just honda in general.

i agree yes they are built to be track, but the ek is not a track car its just a car, the ek9 then has modifications to make it a fast road/fun track car.

i am aware of hondas racing heritage, i am aware of many companies heritage, still doesnt mean the civic or integra were concepted to be track weapons, a company designs cars to make money.

you have gone off my train of arguement, im merely suggesting if u dont like stance why be offensive and personal about the owners of such cars? they have as much work done to them to make them the way the owners intended as your track machines, calling the owners wankers isnt atall constructive

This stance crap is the opposite end of the spectrum to the pure vision depicted in the big brake thread.

I think I'll stay over there.

yea stancers definatly have crap brakes

Not much use when only 25% of the contact patch is on the tarmac...

BULL SH#T. You obviously have no clue what level of insane detail gos into building a fast, reliable track car. Oh and this is the difference, most enthusiasts dont 'get' work done on their cars. They build them themselves.

Again i must stress I have nothing against any one for modding their car how they want. Simon F off Civiclife is into his mega stance. He's a dude. We had cake. Nothing personal at all and as i said before it really doesn't bother me what others do with their cars. And you really twisted what i said before. I wasn't aiming the affordability thing at you personally. I was mearly saying that you can have as much fun in a 125cc shifter kart as you can in a Zonda. Hell i recon i could have a hoot in a 2CV with a roll cage and semi slicks haha!! Oh wait actually i will leave the rollcage as i have heard they are unpractical :D.
