I recently brought a 98 Civic Vti-s, So far I love it really can be alot of fun!
Thought I should really say hello and put up a picture of the car.


Any tuning advice or comments will be welcomed
 
welcome to the forum . please dont hesitate to ask questions even if you think your asking a daft question . this forum is very sophisticated and you shouldnt get anyone being blunt about your questions

Thanks everyone! Well at the moment the only mod is a j's replica carbon intake and the wheels which are team dynamics pro race 1.2's. I'm intending on getting a set of ek9 springs and shocks, a quiet cat back system (was thinking tanabe concept g) which will eventually become a full system, braces and bars, a tidy set of recaros ek9, dc2 or evo4. Definitely a lot more I forgot lol

onother VTi-S owner! thats like 5 now i think...

got mine a few weeks ago, its now on the same wheels!!:D

gonna change them though...17'' is too big

first thing i'm doing is lowering mine, then headers, intake manifold, exhaust, de-cat and so on, its down to taste -- but whack some DOHC VTEC decals on the bottom side to kick things off! :)

I did see a black vti just the other night with dohc V-tech decals and facied a set! Mine are 15s and where a steal off a mate of mine they do need a refurb/respray at the moment. I've only ever seen one other one in the metal! Its in need of a first service since I brought it. Do I just do oil filter, oil and fuel filter?
 
usually at a service its brake pads, spark plugs, oil change, new oil filter, that sort of thing. would advise getting the timing belt done at 60,000 miles if not done already -- mines done 56,000 im getting it done next week, thats the recommended change time on the B16A2 engines.

i would keep my 1.2's if they were smaller...:nono: i custom painted the team dynamics motorsport writing in white -- not to everyones taste but nice unique look:)

yer they only made 200 EK4 VTi-S' so will be hard to see another one! the decals cost about £6.99 from ebay and arrive in two days!
 
welcome along, yeah ek9 shox and spring are real good mods and wil look much better
 
Mines on 91k so timing belt should be done already was intending on getting that done before the end of the month just to be on the safe side, I had a receipt for new pads when I brought it so they should be ok, just ordered a hamp filter and oil. Which spark plugs would you recommend?
