hi folks im looking to buy shocks and springs for my ek4 but im having difficulty finding a set. i want something that is just stiffer than standard and around 35mm drop. i dont have much money at the moment so cant break the bank thanks in advance gavin.

from what ive heard ek9 shock and springs will improve handling so much better

Yep EK9 shocks are slightly stiffer or if you can find a set of Koni shocks for good money there pretty decent.

i had a set of koni strts ordered i think thats what they were but they have taken them off the market due to bad reports and abit of trouble with them. my mate told me to get kyb shocks but i cant find them anywere. i was told about the ek9 shocks but id rather get new ones just so i know that they will be 100%. is there any websites that you could recommend? thanks again.

I'd say oem ek9 set up will do the job and wont break the bank but have a look in here im sure you'll find something

speak to livvy on the forum she might have a set of oem ek9 spings and shockers for sale they are great for every day driving and are much stiffer

i may be willing to part with my spoon n1 just the backbox as its too loud for me if anybody is interested. im looking something quieter like a mugen twinloop.

I have a set of good condition OEM ek9 springs if you are interested I will do a good deal delivered for you? They came off my facelift ek9 with low mileage and the car handled so well with them
