How much are s80 gearbox with 4.7 final drive going for?

Hi guys
I'm planning to buy a s80 with 4.7 final drive what do they go for?

They can go from anywhere from 350 broken or 900 fully built I guess it's luck if you find a cheap one to repair like I did.
 
I've find one for £400 and it's smooth and done 90k is that alright?
 
That's a steal of its that price just make sure it deff is the 4.7 you can tell this by the stampings on the gear box.
 
Theres a code on the box to determine whether it's an LSD box and what year correct me if I'm wrong if you Cooke it it should all come up dude it's what I did when I wanted to make sure it was exactly what the third party said.
 
I sold one with a crunch into 4th IIRC, only got £330 for it. People will try to sell better condition ones for £500 but they dont seem to sell as quickly as they used to
 
My prices for a 98spec s80 with 4.7 and ek9 4th +5th is 500Euro
If i have to put new synchro's in it then the price of the synchros would be extra. Usually about 150euro for the 4th and 5th gear synchro so a fully reconditioned box pretty much guaranteed to go and last would cost 650Euro.

Ive sold 4 in the past 2 months. All customers have been happy and all teh boxes are slick so far.

^^^ this is a very good price and a amazing gearbox upgrade.

I paid £450 turns out it had a 4.4 in. Should of done my research. :( now rebuilding it!

Hi Kevin,

I have been offered a 98 spec s80 with a cusco diff for a rally car that i am building. I have a s4c non lsd was just wondering if you would be able to swap the 4th and 5th gears from this into the s80 for me. PM me back if you can.

are you still doing these for sale and where in ireland are you ??
