^^^ ya and what do you think I should do keep it that way or redo it?

Not to sure looks alright mate but I'd redo it :)

Its not that bad, i suppose if it was really annoying you, you could redo it!

oopsie indicater :p how did u do that by the way i struggle spliting the lights down due to the goo

Sorry to hijack your thread but how did you take the lights apart? Did you use a heat gun to soften the sealer?

Oh and I think the black looks not to bad but not sure the indicator will show enough, would it pass and Mot like this?

Very easy to take apart I just used a heat gun and my very strong arms but make sure you hear up the glue from the pointy part on the light and just pull apart but dont forget the little clips that hold the lights together. Thats why im annoyed cuz the light is not bright enough and might affect MOT but I now the person who do my mots and just ask him tomorrow

Right then I just asked my MOT guy he goes its fine as long as you can see it blinking so I guess im bona keep it that way

Gutted mate, looks quite cool though! atleast you got balls doing it, id just buy EK9 lights :p

^^^ oem ek9 headlights are expensive and im in uni so im trying to save money.

is it legal ??

that'd be my only question.. if you like it keep it dude..

there supposed to be gunmetal grey not black and they look like ek9 lights then

Cheers mate, I have got two sets I need to strip down and polish up as both sets have condensation and thought that would be the best way to do it. T cut the outside of them and they came up gleaming so want to polish them up inside and out and reseal to keep out the condensation and dirty water marks!

I think the black ones look pretty smart and was actually thinking about doing this with a set of my ek lights. If it passes an Mot that would be good enough for me!
