Idiots at meets

i agree with this, hard not to as i've done it in the past! :eek: so long as they're not putting bystanders at risk, its all good banter! :D
 
meets in scotland result in JohnF drifting or doing burnouts lol either that or some casual chat and banter had, its all in good fun, also what do people feel about other folk smoking weed at meets? is it wrong? should it not be done? personally i smoke and i dont give a **** about it cause i do it at meets myself, your choice to smoke it or not.
 
I sometimes smoke at meets, but not very often. My reasoning behind this, is I wouldnt bring a bottle of beer with me to a meet, so why bring a spliff ha.
 
Racing, drifting, burn-outs, are all fine with me as long as they are not of any bother or risk to other peoples property or health!

What I don't get is:
- That kind of behavior when you're putting people/property at risk and/or bothering people with for example a lot of noise
- Revlimiter....like wtf, what is the point of revlimiting your car? It's the most pointless behavior of all on meetings and I seriously do NOT get it! Rev limiter doesn't sound cool, sounds rather gash (hell, when standing still VTEC doesn't even engage), doesn't make your car perform any better, there is just no reason to put your car into the limiter! I DON'T GET IT!! 1,5 months ago I exited the Nordschleife, there was a jam of 500 metres 3 cars wide at the exit of the Nordschleife. Another Integra came up by my side and waved. Ok cool, you got the same good taste. And then he revved it into the limiter and gestured me to do the same? Right, go annoy other people, I'm no ricer.
 
its ok to have a bita fun but boucin your car off the limiter is just pointless to do lol as said tho ep3's over here get alot of abuse was a red one at a local meet last year and bouced of the limiter from when he came in until he went back out about an hour later,poor wee car
 
those ep3's are tough cars to take that kind of mindless abuse
i don't go to meets for reasons like this
 
...and is why the import scene gets heat from the law, the few that mess it all up for the rest of us by thinking they are cool and destroying their engines out in public view.

Remember this person next time you get pulled over for having a loud civic.
 
Some meets are full of idiots! I enjoy a nice blast and enjoy seeing rubber burn! But sometimes people take the piss!

As for that video i have no idea what on earth that guy was trying to do! :(

exactly....... no need for rev limiter bashing and thrashing across car parks, justs upsets people, want to race (spirited drive) then get out on the road, or better still on track and get it out your system.
 
guys this was a meet at a supermarket carpark... and the supermarket was still open..

so honestly i don't give a F*** if i sound like a grandad but burnouts in this situation are F****** pointless cause all they'll do is get you moved on, in turn ending the meeting..

however, on a sunny day with no-one about and at an open place.. Burnouts are an absolute MUST !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet there isn't many other engines that can survive on the limiter for that long without dieing! What a complete and utter idiot though i wish it would of gone bang!
 
Yeah I agree, the car park stuff is pointless. However if am am paying all that money on road tax, and blah blah blah. I am going to make use of that, there is nothing like ripping through B roads at 4 in the morning with your mates in their honda's too. Some of us haven't got a lot of time free for track days, and when you do it rains =[.
