in a quarter mile race between a EK4 and a INTEGRA type R all stock engine

-does the ek4 stand a chance?

Haha nah mate i dont no alot about cars but id no that bud

tbh i couldnt tell you exsact beucase i dont car for 1/4 miles.

but i could imagine there would be quite a large gap as the dc2 pulls quite far on a ek9

TBH it would all depend on the driver, if you get a **** guy who cant drive in the teg and a good one in the ek4 id say the ek4 would win, but being honest the itr is what 200bhp, ek4 is 160 so quite a power difference

it would be bye bye ek4 lol

As said however all it takes for the teg driver to be a load of sxxt and the ek4 might stand a slim chance

have both and there's a big difference, thats a standard teg against a modded jordan

EK4 0 - 60 = 7.9 seconds ( factory quoted )
EK9 0 - 60 = 6.4 seconds ( factory quoted )but even RVM has stated he got 5.8 - 6.0 seconds on a track at sea level.. and who is gonna say RVM is lying lol.

EK4 - Top speed = 129 MPH
Ek9 - Top speed = 146 MPH
Again factory quoted so some owners of EK4's will tell you they got 135 Mph they may have done but in actuall speed they weren't even doing the quoted 129 MPh lol
don't be fooled...the EK9 is far more than just 1 step up from the Ek4...

if you were ever lucky enough to see a completely standard EK4 Uk spec race a standard EK9 it would be so clear the difference in the 2 cars...if you do FILM IT as this would be a very rare occurance...

EK4 SiR will have 168bhp instead of the uk 158bhp so will be a little closer but still along way of an EK9.

hope this helps mate

On the Type-R legends video when they compared the 1/4 mile times for the EK9 and the EK4 SIR, the times were 15.960 (EK9) and 16.543 (EK4). In that same video they did a DC2 96 spec and it got 15.296. The numbers quoted are just references.
