Its fairly near a bare shell now, just need to drop fuel tank,

Has anyone one here made a 'spit', planing on making one of these so i can do underneath the car, would make life handier if i had dimensions as the car needs to turn on its center of gravity,

The Seeker V2 looks unreal lad! I am for getting one at some stage when funds allow! I'll throw you a few quid to borrow your spit for a week when your done with it lol. Keep up the good work, you started about 8 months after me and at this rate of going you'll be on the road before me lol.

some more updates, :) got the lend of a spit from a friend who is buliding a mk2 escort, and made up a frame to to suit the ek9, bit wierd looking at it sitting there on its side, :wow: so heres some more pics... im suprised the poor grinder hasnt burnt out :p

drivers floor all striped now, hope fully have it all ready for welding by the weekend. :)
 
one more thing ticked of the list, its a seibon carbon bonnet, weighed it there and its around 8kgs....going by the bathroom scales, :p i dono how much lighter this is than oem but it definitely easier to pick up, and seems to be well made,.

weighed the standard bonnet today, 15kgs, :O so 7kg weigh reduction, cant complain about that, :)

got a set of ohlins and bc's,sold the ohlins to a friend as i prefer the extra adjustment on the bc's

got myself a lightweight bumper bar and manual window mechanism and doorcards off maffy :win:

and managed to sqeeze ep3/fn2 calipers and 300mm disks under oem wheels,:naughty:

its been a busy few weeks hope to get the bottom sealed and a top coat of champ white within the next week so i can start assembleing my suspension
