On the test drive it seemed fine, was a little tappy but hadn't been moved for months. How often do you rip a bumper off viewing a car lol. You don't expect the front end to be hanging off. It's beginning to unveil as a nail!

**** news, What was the owners story behind this?

im surprised you didnt notice the front end, is one of first things myself and dunx noticed seen lee n the car at japfest few times in the past and other occasions always thought it was a bit rough

I remember this last year lol

I've noticed as well front grille wasn't tucked properly lol shame seen this at japfest many times running on combe track

That's stupidly rough, why would someone put that much money into a b20 build and not sort out derisory rust issues ?

Gutted that you found out after you bought it.

It looks like the front ends been removed and bodged back on, I wasn't to bothered about the bodywork as it's purely a toy for track and fun. Shame the whole reason I bought it for the engine and that doesn't last 5 minutes

Ide agree with you, but agreeing on a refund of £75 and then going ahead an taking £125 isnt really fair isit? Just a note i arnt really anything to do with that situation just stating the obvious, theres also been a few Facebook posts about you regarding these sort of things

What are these FB post about me???

Lee's very quite on the subject has he tried helping you out at all?when he was selling it my mate asked him was there any rust and he assured him there was none, that front end is worse than a uk vti it's a rickle

well apparently not enough money in the b20 either

shame man, fist the trouble with the dc2 and now this. you need to really take a closer look when buying a car

:lock:

There are factors on this not mentioned such as ben using 95 fuel, when I told him what fuel to use... I spoke to Daz at endless (who is neutral in this matter) and he said -

"it's not the afr that would have been the issue it would have been the ignition timing, the car is tuned to find max power of the ignition timing and then pulled back a few degrees for safety, but that would have been on the higher octane fuel, could have caused detonation, which can do a few things, melt pistons, melt valves, it can cause extremely high pressures in the cylinders which can I turn melt valves, it can cause extremely high pressures in the cylinders which can In turn cause big end failure"

I did also tell him the front end was a mess and slam panel not welded on, and gave him plenty of chances to do whatever he needed to do to the car inspection wise. Even asking him if there's anything else he wants to go through before selling it to him.
