Right, been a long time lurker on the forum and I thought I might aswell post some pics up now. This is my 3rd civic, definitely my favourite. I know its not a 9 but oh well, that was bit out of my price range to be honest! My mate owned it for about 6months but decided he wanted to get a 9 instead, so he sold it to me for a very good price i couldnt turn down. Ive owned it for about 4 or 5months and plan on keeping it for a while, got loads of plans for it and will try and keep the thread updated. anyways, on with the pics.
Bought the car like this
first thing i done was take the stickers off, then replaced the polished slips with some 16" black rota grids, swapped with a mate. I know alot of people will think it looks a thousand times better on the slips but it was a bit too bling bling for me.
then colour coded the rear number plate recess
followed by some spoon replica mirrors that i also colour coded, came out pretty good. also used some spacers to raise the bonnet a little bit.
then decided it was about time to get on a diet, sound deadening was a right pain to take out. front didnt turn out too good so i will be re sanding and painting it again soon. Took the car to a weighbridge and it checked it at bang on 1000kg's, would like to get to 970 and its definitely acheivable
took these seats from my old civic, evo 4 recaros. plus a 3inch OMP harness.
then got myself a blox 490 limited edition gear knob, with a shift extension. the car also has a short shifter so the shift throws arent as long as you would think.
next to fit, tegiwa brake stopper.
random pic from pod, ran a 15.3@91, with **** nearly bald tyres and a slipping clutch (not to make excuses lol)
