Hi guys, thought id start a thread to show you my ek4 i bought a few months ago. I have mainly been an old ford man but have always had a soft spot for Hondas, when this came up for sale at a good price I sold my 2l zetec Escort and bought it. It came with apexi springs, powerflow cat back, Corbeau seat, projector lights, carbon front splitter, cheap horrible wheels, 12 months mot and 6 months tax :). Here are my old cars and the civic how i bought it...

I then de wipered the rear, fitted jap style plates and bought some red rota gt3's ( not using them till they stop salting the roads)

I have now fitted some oem front mudflaps, tilted the rear spoiler, fitted standard lights which have had the backs painted black, bought a oem ek9 rear lip and painted it myself, fitted a brake bar stopper and a mugen front strut brace. I have also removed the whole air con system which has tidied the bay up a bit.

The car was bought with the intensions of it being a sensible runaround that i would leave alone lol. Next il be of to CAS in the new year to have a custom cat back 2.5" system made up to mate to a custom back box which im going to get angled :)

Anyways hope you like.

Cheers

Nice collection of old fords there mate! Nice looking EK4 too! Good luck with your mods! :D

As above a few nice fords there mate civic looks clean good buy :nice:

very nice ek4 and some nice fords too, i miss my mk5 rs2000 sometimes

Cheers for the comments guys.

Yeah i miss the fiesta, was a great first car! the civic drives great, feels a lot safer and more comfortable but i did like the rawness of the old fords :)

Nice one mate! Changes are subtle but have made a huge difference, the lights were a must. Good luck with your plans :nice:

Cheers lads.

Yeah i hated the lights with a passion!lol along with the wheels but they are winter wheels for now. Could do with replacing the front splitter with a ek9 one as im not feeling the carbon one tbh.

Lovely collection of cars and all very clean looking. The civic looks great, alot of potential there :) Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the possitive commments guys.

Today I undersealed the car using my new compressor :) I also fitted a buddy club short shift along with new poly bushes for the linkage, not had a chance to drive it yet but the shift seems tight now.I have also recieved a rear lower brace which il proceed to fit shortly.

Cheers bud.

I went to see Billy at CAS last week as he came highly reccommended from my mate Ross. I got him to make me up a custom cat back 2.5" stainless system with a silencer in the middle, I supplied a back box and he went under the axel and gave it a nice angle:)) Really happy with how it looks and I highly rate his quality of work! It's bloody loud now lol

Pic when I arrived home, I have also fitted the rear lower brace

Then I gave the car a clean using my new snow foam lance :) works well.

Heres some pics after a quick wash.
