My k20 swap ek4

love it mate. will be a monster once finished. and thanks again for the advice ;)

!how come you did this over boost? iirc you were doing a forged b18 turbo before?

the reason i decide not to go down the turbo route is because a very close friend of mine spent somethink like 13000 on a turbo engine build in his integra, and after 2 weeks it went wrong:( and i just like the idea of staying n/a :nice:

Good luck with the build mate , theres a lot of K20 projects on the go now - And i want one too :D

Planning in doing this swap too, can you give me a ballpark figure in trems of $$$$$$$$$ with the complete list that you just posted. thanks from Puerto Rico

looks good but out of interest why did you get a karcepts ps and ac delete kit....the ep3 engine doesnt have ps and if its got ac as an option, you just need a shorter belt to run without.

fair play in carrying out with the swap :) i know its not easy and it costs an arm and a leg :p but its worth it :) look forward to seeing the finished result ;)

Does the karcepts kit relocate the alt at the same time as offering the ac/ps delete?

the karcepts delete kit gets rid of the p/s pump a/c pump and it relocates the alternater to were the a/c pump goes.

the reason i am using this mod is because it is two pump less that i need .

If you done some research youd know that the EP3 engine doesnt have a PS pump, and AC was an option on EP3s. If it does have AC, to remove it simply involves unbolting the compressor and running with a non-AC belt instead :nice:

Only time Id use these kits is where space is tight like on swaps into EF's and minis :nice:

Slight better centre of gravity due to mounting the alternator lower down & maybe a 'cleaner' look under the bonnet.

But I agree with Gerry there, when I did mine on the old EG I didn't use a kit to remove P/S or A/C

i always though they had one, and i have done about 5 months of research and must of misted that they didnt have a p/s pump, thank you for informing me i will still use the kit as it free's up the little bit more space :nice:
