My VSM EJ9


So i fitted the Grid V's on Monday, They look great on the car but sadly they will be going, the dealer i bought them from sent out the 8" instead of 7" and i only just noticed when mounting them on the car :angry: so they are obviously sticking waaaaay out... so gutted as they look absolutely stunning on the car! will post a few pics of them on soon... in the meantime i'm on the hunt for a set of Racing Hart CO-035's or Kosei K1S's... anyone selling a set? give me a pm! ;)
 
Civic looking nice mate, shame about the wheels but at least you're looking at others that you won't see everywhere haha ;)
 
Cheers bud! yeah the wheels look the part on the car but just too much poke, they will attract all the wrong attention :( i don't want the car to be a scene queen either lol! I'm very keen on the kosei's tbh, in bronze or anthracite i think, so might have to find the right set and save em pennies lol...

Damn they're a bit wide indeed haha would have to run some silly Camber or some wide arches but would be much easier to get a set that fit :nice:
Koseis are a good shout would compliment it pretty well bud
 
They look great on the car, my mate said to roll the arches, nope lol... i am contemplating going all out and getting TE37v's as well tbh :beer:but a set of ks1's look likely for just now, i'll need more space for all these alloys haha!

Haha I wouldn't ruin the arches, rolling the lips in is all I'd do but they won't clear at all lol
Buy them all mate! I have Mugen RNR's that I don't even have tires on and I've thought of getting more :rolleyes:

My list is pretty long wheel wise :nono: i'd quite like some mugen cf48's myself lol... i chop and change my mind alot with wheels haha

My list is more like a yellow pages...:lol: I'm always changing my mind too just decided I'll go with whatever I can get my hands on next haha
Cf48's look so good but hard to find over here :(

I'm in the same category... i see a wheel and think that would look good on the EJ lol... and yeah cf48's are a bugger to source, i do have a set on my watchlist on ebay atm... they are slowly creeping down in price so might have to nab em! ;)
 
So got the bumper back today from Elite paint & body in Balmedie, honestly couldn't recommend them enough! Great service, very fast response time and very good prices! Vince from Elite knew exactly what i needed done, no problems with it and had the bumper repaired and painted in 2 days!! and i am honestly over the moon with how it came out!

So test fitted it onto the car, along with the fog lights and this is how it came out:

as you can see the number plate recess cutouts have been smoothed out and i think it really gives the car a bit more aggression, and tbh i think i may keep the wheels... but the K1R's are still on the to-buy list!
 
Haven't posted in a while, not a lot has happened, i bought Elsom-20's Takata harnesses off him, so shout out to him for his help! Also ordered a harness bar for the harnesses, so if that turns up next week, that along with the Mugen gen 3, Cusco pillar brace, the harnesses and the Brides should hopefully be in the car! fingers crossed!

In the meantime i wired up the fog lights last weekend, was a easy job to do... and one of my colleagues at work tinted the car for me... so took a couple of pics of the car:

thanks man! your ej is also looking great!! my reg is still on my other bumper lol, I'm thinking of getting a boltsbolts flip up number plate tray just so it is there i like the look of the car w/o the plate but for obvious reasons it'll have to be there... i may just stick it on with double sided tape we'll see!
 
So a little update as i haven't posted in a bit... bought some little things, got Mugen number plate bolts, a set of Bride rails for the seats as the current rails just weren't sitting very well in the car, a cover for the seats and a free Bride headrest along with the Bride goodies :dance: and another small matter is that i've bit the bullet and bought a Facelift Milano Red EP3!!! :drool: So that'll be getting picked up next weekend!

Cheers bud! I got the Brides from RHDJapan, i get most of the genuine aftermarket bits and bobs from there... decent prices compared to some you see in the uk etc.

I'm thinking of getting a set of Volk RE30's for it, Skunk2 Megapower R, Premier Edtn. seats and a Mugen spoiler...
 
EK's coming along nicely mate and that ep3 would look perfect sitting on some RE30's :)

Cheers bud! I have a fair ammount of plans for the car... Private K20 reg, full JDM interior and the wheels and spoiler, and some engine goodies! just want to get her home 1st :))
