Nicole's turbo black ek9

nicole_ vs Biscuit death race.

Never seen any of biscuit's videos but I think she can do him! She's got balls(figure of speech) to keep spinning at the same corner and keep trying.

Was just trolling, getting some track banter going for laugh...
Hard to put that into text lol

Bought some UK 98 spec wheels in 15s for my track rubber... They were silly cheap, but the paint was pretty bubbled, as they're just my track wheels, I decided to refurb myself to tidy them up a little..

went for bronze with satin laquer to keep them looking matte!

Also I thought this was pretty interesting...after cadwell, I've had problems with my wheel nuts coming loose (I actually lost one or two) on my front wheels and have to keep re-torquing them. I'm guessing these have been powder coated at some point...

Wheel on the right is a front wheel, note all the whites gone from where it meets the hub compared to the rear wheel to the left!

And where the coatings all burnt off round the edge! Pretty hard to get a photo of, but this lips huge!

I dont really trust these wheels at all haha, so I'm pretty happy ive got different wheels for track now :)

Also did my centre caps as they were looking pretty sad!

Next up was my engine bay....!
I have a thing for dark/stealthy looking engine bays so the cam cover went off to my painter for smoothing and painting, along with my brake stopper as that was looking a bit tatty...
New stainless bolts for the stopper, skunk2 oil cap, passwordJDM carbon plug cover and black stainless dome nuts for the cover and I got these back!
Such a hard colour to photograph, but its a deep dark anthracite and I love it!

Also relocated the throttle cable and rerouted the wiring that normally lies over the strut top/wing to the passenger side to tidy everything up a bit :)

Next was Mimms! I have to admit I was a little sad mine blends in quite a lot as shes totally OEM looking, but I do love it, and people who can appreciate a mint oem car gave me some lovely comments :) Went for little photoshoots with peeps while I was there, would of been rude not to!

Finally...I've taken my whale ***** off. I love the noise, but I didn't feel like it was doing the car any good, she did feel really hesitant between gears, and as much as I miss the noise, I'm a lot happier with how she drives :)
Thought I'd hate the look of my bay without the carbon, but I really prefer it!

Not sure if this will work, but heres a quick last listen of the whale intake before I took it off...Did love it haha

Japfest on Saturday and have two track time sessons, one AM and PM...and Cadwell booked again for the 17th! Can't wait to get back out there!!

What wheel cleaner is that to get that inner grime off?

talking of death races...we should get an ek9 track day/meet thing sorted! That would be awesome :D (I dont condone racing on a track day I swear :nono:  )

Biscuit its bilt hamber auto wheel - a bit like iron x, but the smells a lot easier to stomach. Expensive and doesn't last long so I use this to get bad bad stuff off every once in a while, then seal with fk1000p (awesome stuff, especially with us having white wheels, beading wheels too :nice: ) then they just needs a pressure wash with some APC - not too strong or you strip sealant - and a brush!

thank you :) yeh the teg box seems a lot better!

Took the car down to RDT yesterday for a dyno checkover, I've said from day one with this car that it felt slow and it looks like there is definitely something wrong with her :(
Will's awesome and was so interesting popping down! Had a brilliant day, just sad the car's poorly!

Funny torque curve and 115whp

great looking nine. love how the bay looks. nice and clean.

Don't know the details of your build so it would be hard to guess what's up with your engine.

Did Will not give you some ideas on the issue? I've got a graph of mine standard and that was 136whp iirc. So your not a huge way off where mine was like 4 years ago.
AFR drops like a stone after 6500, like you say that's what's robbing your power.
I don't think there's an actual engine issue, I think it's likely to be sensor or something.
Have you checked that you've actually got a stock ecu?

I would start by giving it a bit of a health check,

Check compression
Check throttle body is clean including hole for map sensor
Check plug gaps/replace plugs
Check condition of dizzy cap and arm
Check/clean engine earths
Have the injectors flow rates tested or replace them
