As Rob said, the thermostatic plates do always allow some oil though, which I think may be the reason for it. The cooler kit I've got was run on StevenEK9's car before mine and he never reported any issues, so I don't think there is any issues with the operation of the sandwich plate itselfso would you say the thermostatic plate is not that effective then?

I just bought a sheet of Perspex for a couple of quid off eBay and run that on the road to allow it to heat up quicker, only takes 2 minutes to take it off for track use so I've never really looked any further into it tbh
