Oulton park trackday - few laps in the 9


If im picky, the only downside was the tyres, running R1R's - R888 next year.
 
Some good footage there, wow that was close to that mazda haha. You came along way up from plymouth.
 
Should of posted that you were going would of come it's only a 40min drive away. How did you find the track, are you going again in the new year?
 
Yes looks like a bit of a struggle with those tyres. Wow that was a long drive for you. I went up there a few months back and it took 3+ hrs from Reading. Great track isn't it and looks like you had a good time.

nicevideo, tyres were efinatley struggling to keep grip, some nice drift on them though :p
 
What's the regs there with helmets/safety gear? Want to do some trackdays in the new year there.
 
The Tyres had only done 200 miles of easy driving though so they were not really ready.
Every track is far from Plymouth! Mazda was my dads 210 bhp turbo.

Is good but not as good as cadwell.

Maybe feb if the weathers good, grip at Oulton seemed low due to the cold track.
 
Im from Plymouth too, and it really is a million miles away from anything and everything!

T1-r's are good for what they are, but you will notice a big difference with r888's.
 
Got an ek4 saloon, dark blue, or a rally prepared clio williams, which is soon to be going as building an ek4 to take over the rallying next year.

Oh R1R's sorry, i miss read it...,im thinking about using them for road rallying next year, as have been using the T1-r's up to now
