over cooling


quick Q as im curious.
Does faulty or bad thermostat damage the engine if not changed quicky?
 
there's potential to damage the engine as the car will always run in the warm-up/rich cycle.

Too much fuel can be just as bad as not enough fuel.
 
Has any one confirmed that PN#: 19301-PAA-306 & 19301-P08-316 are the same? AndyEK9 did everything fit good? I'm guessing it's just a new vendor, cause on ebay they crossed both numbers.
 
PN#: 19301-PAA-306 fitted fine, must be the same part but different part numbers
 
For reference I'm sure there is a trader on here who does Honda thermostats for about £18 delivered IIRC.

I replaced mine recently as I was having similar issues as my temperature gauge was staying too low and it's solved the problem. Remember and run the car for a good while to heat it up once fitted and ensure hot air runs through the heating vents in the car so there are no cold air pockets!
