:thanks:

drives off and stops like 5 seconds after

hahahahaha

theres a guy from gumtree.ie supply and fitted kill switch on your car for 40 euro which is cheap and make me wanna get it done althought i already have good alarm+immoboliser but worry that it will mess up my wires and whole electrical screw up:nono:

its very easy to install kill switch, i'm sure i saw a how to on sum car forum... some people have two, one is only slightly hidden so he thinks he has the swithch found...but ha not really.

sum people have a switch fairly visible ande have it wired to a second alarm siren, which has to be turned off by another well hidden switch:)

put it on fuel pump. i usually put it on the earth wire,if you can get a hold of a power probe it will tell you what are lives and what are earths just tap in to it and bury the switch.you can take the feeds from back of fuse box if you trace wires back or else pump is under rear seats take it from there.

i have an alarm + immoboliser and still put kill switches on the car, car's just aren't safe anymore when with alarm the feckers can get around it

I know a lad who fits them for around €40 also if that's any use.

Oh I will do it myself..Wont be hard at all..Just woundered what wire to cut is all

There is a yellow wire and a black wire running to the pump, then a yellow, a green and a black one running to some sort of relay beside the pump..Which one will i wire the switch to lads..

LOL at people who supply and fit for €40, robbery. its a piece of piss to do. Snip the yellow and green for your fuel pump, hide wiring and most importantly your switch very well. Make sure your back seat is tightly remounted

Thanks man..Thats what I needed to know.. Yea its simple wiring..Be mad to waste your money getting someone else.. I dont have back seat btw.. Thanks for your help.. Rep+

just did one myself this weekend in an ek4 vti. very simple, on the fuse box, the third fuse from the left on the middle row of fuses is the fuel pump fuse(its a 15amp fuse). if you pull that fuse, car wont start. i crimped two cables with small lugs on the end and pushed one into each blade of the fuse holder. then put a 15 amp fuse inline with one of the cables and run to wherever you wanna put the swith and job done, very simple and very very effective
