Ah damn, really liked them as well! I think the D1 nuts fit, my mate sells them so I'll be able to check it out.

JDMJNKY, what cars that, looks good :)

DO NOT run alu wheel nuts on track cars, seriously

I ran open ended alu nuts on ARP studs but they can't cope with the heat and last track day all the wheel nuts on one of my front wheels loosened slightly

100% aluminium goes soft when heated not even too much. You will even notice this for example when drilling and all the swarf gets stuck in the drill bit due to it heating, softening then hardening when cooled.

D1 wont fit
the only way you can get aftermarket ones to fit is to buy a little adapter / spacer

but like i said before, tegiwa sell ones that fit oem wheels

Is there any nuts that have lock nuts but also extended lug nuts as I like the extended look

I ran the Kics set as on 2000EK4 above, the thread on them eventually gets knackered, binned them all apart from the lockers which are still ok, expensive lesson.

I understrand the want for all these nice wheelnuts but most people who have had them and experienced their downfalls what are yous running now?

As i'd be looking for a functional wheelnut rather than bling bling anyway

Only bought the Kics for the lockers, the key is deep and solid, having burred several sets in the past, just happens that they were very expensive and looked bling, doesnt take long for that fancy coating to be stripped off on UK roads.

I now use some black steel nuts from Rarerims, still use the lockers daily as they are still ok, at the track its steel all round. Think the coloured nuts look shite.

Must be expensive - are you grabbing enough thread with those? I'd be scared driving that !!

i had some nice red longer open ended ones on and whilst gettin some work done on the car the kid working on it used a short socket and made a right mess of my lovely new wheel nuts only one wheel but all four nuts wasnt impressed. But also had bother with the threads stripping, gotta be careful with them, as for the cheaper ebay versions id be worried about goin round a corner too fast and the wheel fallin off.
