Show or Race car..?


I find welding one handed alright haha, not too difficult. I'll update my build thread tomorrow haha:)! It's always safety first even if I look like a tramp haha! Xxx
 
Fair play on the welding, mine ends up like a splatter effect, or I blow holes through everything! Lol
 
Welding one handed is piss easy when you've been tig welding in 6G's for ages.

Think everything has been pretty much covered here lol

My two pence is just go with it, one step at a time and see where you end up. Don't follow trends/brackets just think of its purpose and what you like and do it. But as said, don't waste too much cash on the engine/ej9 base, just focus on your suspension / brakes / styling and nothing saying it can't be swapped over onto another Ek chassis in time.

I can't help but mention how funny it is that this thread gets more replies and activity in a a few days then most decent build threads / members rides / tech get in months... I wonder why :lol:

Not sure if this has been said above or not - so, sorry if I'm repeating. All I can say is race car and daily don't go well in the same sentence, I couldn't bare to daily drive my Ek9 as;

its so stiff and uncomfortable on uk roads
damn loud with gearbox/tyre whine / exhaust noise
gets damn hot inside
steams up in when wet
Hurts your ears big time. :(( Even with ear defs rated to 120/130Db

Just my 2p
