Is it still the B16A2 in there at the moment? Sounds menacing in your vid - couldn't watch it for too long or I'd have to start singing the Thunder Buddy song lol

You done anything more to yours over the winter racing break?
 
Nothing at all sorry. We've got a baby on the way in April and with the change in priorities and drop in household income, in all probability I don't think the car is going to leave the garage at all this year. I'm going to get a bit of weight saving done and hopefully get back into the VTC or WSSCC for 2014. Ideally I'd like to get some perspex windows and a better box if the money works out.

I've got this fella as my car interest for this year - I'll be getting a tow bar on it at some point ready for trailering ;)

Ah congratulations! Do you know the *** yet or do your want a suprise? Will have to loan you my angle grinder with the metal cutting discs was so easy cutting out the inner skins!

Nice purchase a proper family wagon, does the roof pop up on it?
 
Cheers buddy. We don't know the *** so we'll only know when he or she arrives.

Yep the roof pops up. It's an 8 seater mpv downstairs but all the seats lie flat to make another bed.
 
Small update,

Still awaiting on some parts from Hybrid before they ship them off to me. Engine and box are ready and waiting to go.

I've been working on cutting out some excess metal and cleaning the floor ready for some paint here are some terrible phone pictures

Congrats on the baby si :D why don't you fit the engine yourself? Be easy and save money. If it wasn't such a trek i'd come up and do it with you :D
 
Update;

The 1st shipment from Hybrid turned up! Still awaiting on my fuel pressure regulator and shifter.

Just waiting on the shifter and FPR to turn up from Hybrid racing then it should all be done.

Hey Si,

Saw the progress on your car yesterday.. it's looking good! Love that Yellow rocker cover that you have. Did you go for K20a2 or K20a?

Since we're both waiting on the Hybrid Shifters, and both will end up in the r-motion unit on arrival I've suggested to Hybrid that they could ship them together... what do you think? Might help them up their priority on them a little bit if they're saving on excess shipping..

Ah I cant wait to see it, been so tempted to pop up after work! I went for K20a2 I know Mike sourced a box with an LSD for me tho!:drive:

That sounds good to me! As all im waiting on is the shifter and Fuel pressure regulator!

I know the shifters were due back in stock on the 8th, Have they replied to you yet?
 
Update

Had confirmation from Hybrid Racing that the shifter was sent yesterday! Should be with me by Wednesday.

Wont be long and it will be back.
 
good lord this has come a long way since we met at PA years ago now!

Update

Its back!!! Picked it up from R-Motion on Friday they have done a great job would reccomend them to anyone.

Only got this one picture for now will post up some more on Thursday.

K is deffinatly the way to go! Just need a remap now on K100
