Hi everyone I've just baught a straight through spoon system including mani has any body got any idea or better proof of what bhp gains I will get? Ow yeah and torque? :)) thanks
 
Yeah that's with a n1 mate, n I've baught a spoon 4-2-2-1 Mani the spoon b-pipe an a n1 muffler????
 
i didnt see much gains when i put my N1 catback on some noise off it tho
 
I have a full spoon system on my B20 build and it made good power.

Spoon Street muffler , Spoon B-pipe and Spoon 4-2-1 one piece manifold.

My car made near 222bhp and that was with the oem cat fitted too. Don't know how it compares to other exhausts systems but this figure at least proves this exhaust system certainly isn't restrictive.

Maybe With an ECU re-map maybe 15hp.... i'm guessing you have a decat ??
 
Would this set up be to loud for track use with a decat??
 
15bhp is alot to ask for just from an exhaust system, can't see it getting that much. i could b wrong tho

I would say yes, My Spoon N1 on Spoon B-pipe , Granted it had a feels header & Decat but was VERY loud, Hense me making my quiet version of the N1 to get away with using it on track without annoying anyone :)
 
Not going to get 15bhp from an exhaust without a remap- would think about 12bhp very max with a remap
 
Yeah I'm putting a decat on as well, also got a spoon ecu to go with it :))
 
I got the spoon n1 .. Personally think it's too loud mines off up for sale in a few weeks
 
use high flow header + exhaust system without decat and u should notice differences in car pulls. Decat to avoid the back pressure on your engine.
 
On a more serious note.

I would doubt the system will make much hp figures over standard. The ECU will help but I wouldnt expect peak hp to change that much maybe 5hp-10hp tops if your lucky.

The noticable gain will be the mid range. With the spoon ECU, system plus a decat. I would expect a nice smoother torque curve, a broader mid range and a little bit longer lasting pull up top.

If you want to see bigger peak hp gains so you can brag how much hp it makes on a dyno then what you want is a full remap once all your Mods together. If your planning a new intake airbox setup ect...Then you will see some better gains and a rise in peak HP.
