Spoon n1 vs bumper/lip

The lip has gone a bit discoloured just around that small area of the exhaust yeah

Doesn't bother me

I havent got the Spoon but the same has happened to me with the BC spec II, the steel is a lot thinner than OEM so it gets a LOT hotter...

My friend has an Evo that is constantly spitting out flames, but he has got a carbon fibre plate that was specially designed to fit the shape of his bumper, so I may look into how much they are for an EK...

Josh..

I have aftermarket exhaust mounts that put spoon around 0.5 inch far than oem mounts.

I like to see much more with oem mounts, thats why i'm asking :drive:

My N1 does sit close alright and does stain it but I just spray bug and tar remover on it and leave for 5 mins and it all wipes back to white

My Spoon N1 does only sit in the bumper's exhaust gap like this

so i had to do this with the lip

mine sits nicely doesnt meet atal,

and with the dis-colouring of the lip just clean it more to stop it :) lol

Adri, you're spoon sits very high, do you have oem bumper?

In my car, with oem mounts, sits like dean85...i can put in the gap small finger.

OEM bumper, OEM rubber mounts, buddyclub header, b pipe and n1.

If i change the rubber mounts for a longer ones, the n1 will hit the rear arm.

Very strange .

I also have oem bumper, spoon n1 and spoon bpipe and even with long (1inch) rubber mounts dont hit in rear arms.

I have the Spoon N1, doesnt rub or mark/damage the bumper at all. I have the standard rubbers on too.

Is there a difference between the generations of n1's mine is the newest gen an no problems atal fit perfectly

Mine has slight discoloration but some auto tardis gets it right off

Mine's burnt quite badly, need to snip off the melted crap on the bumper and tidy up the N1 where some plastic has melted on to it.

mine was very close ....a easy solution my mate did at a garage

streatch your exhaust rubber ,then put a car wheel valve in it then release .it extends the exhaust rubber

mine sits perfect like this and does not touch the bumper ,it did without this mod
