Inspection Time...

So to get cars registered over here in the UK, we need to put them through a Vehicle Inspection which is called an "M.O.T" same thing as "SMOG" or "NCT" etc...

As soon as I rolled in all the mechanics stopped working and came outside to look at the car. I think mainly because of the colour lol, they didn't really know what it is.

Once it got on the ramp they were really shocked to see a car in this condition especially for the age & to be honest I was taken back myself too, I've had other import Hondas too, but this one is clean to another level.

Long story short, she passed with flying colours, now time to send the paperwork off and apply for the registration.

It was only a matter of time...

I was trying to keep it stock for as long as possible, but someone messaged me asking if I've got Fan Blades for sale and I ended up selling them to him lol (They were going to go eventually)

So I pulled out my Yellow OG Volk Ray's TE37's from storage and threw them on the car just to keep it rolling.

I've ordered another set of wheels from Japan and they should be here soon.

Some more JDM Goodies...

From my last EK4 SiR I kept this SUPER RARE Honda Access Optional Extra Sunglasses Holder with Map Light.

What makes this even more rare than a normal Sunglasses Holder is this is specifically for a Tintop EK4 SiR due to where it Mounts on the roof. (The Sunglasses holders for EK9/DC2 are slightly different and bolt up in a different location)

It's a good thing I kept it!

I also threw on a Spoon Sports Blue Tint Rear View mirror I had sat about.

Next stop KDN Honda Works...

Still not had a chance to send the paperwork off so transporting it is the only solution to get it about.

Went to get some work done from my buddy Samuel Kidney who runs KDN Honda Works in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

Following work was carried out:
- Valve Clearance
- OEM Timing belt, Water Pump & Tensioner.
- NGK Grade 7 Iridium Spark Plugs
- Millers CFS 5W40 Oil & Hamp Filter
- OEM MTF3 Transmission Oil
- OEM Type 2 Blue Coolant
- Magnetic Sump Bolt
- Rocker Cover Gasket

I love the yellow/yellow combo. And the underside looks so good, I know it's not easy to find or cheap but a dry ice cleaning would be perfect to lift all the dirt off.
