Tattoo Ideas

I'm thinking of getting a new tattoo, want a tribal, on my upper arm and shoulder going up to my neck, a little coming on my collar bone to the chest. I've found a couple of ideas, not sure exactly which ones, just wanted various opinions on which on you think looks good. Any other ideas/photos are welcome too :)

never been a huge fan of tribal, im now have 6 lol and have always gone for writing haha but if i was to go for anyone here i would go for 17 mate
 
my opinion is not to get a tribal design. Though some are really cool, in general as an idea they don`t seem so appealing to me.

Any other ideas would be great too, don't have to be tribal ideas or any of the above :)
 
A giant pen!s? :lol: I've got a Chinese dragon in a kinda loop with the 9 planets in its grasp, a touch of tribal with a yingyang in the middle and some Chinese writing in the middle of the loop on my back, booked in for another one as a reminder/tribute to my dog that ate my face. That's basically a portrait of the dog with a moody background surrounded by tribal (possibly...still unsure) as a sleeve going from the top of my shoulder down to my elbow for now.
 
Yeah I've thought about getting one but would never know what to get, and I'm not a fan of tribal either (no offence steve) :nice:

Am no a fan off it anymore myself mate only got it to cover up another 3 tattoos! Wish a got a colour Japanese themed one
 
i wouldnt get tribal,well over here there classed as chav tattoo's lol id like one sometime but duno what id get
 
tribal seem dated now and look like some one just drawn on you with a marker pen lol each to there own but just dont seem like artwork unlike some other designs
 
I know what you mean Webbie, some of these are amazing but I want one on my shoulder which isn't too 'busy'

exactly go to the tatooist with a few ideas and if they are any good they'll draw a custom one on your arm there and then thats what mine did

That's what I was thinking at first but thouth "I know it's only going to be drawn on first but what if I don't like the design?" Like all together, the style of the tribal etc

It's got me thinking about dragon tattoos over the shoulder now

I wouldn't go tribal I have one and I'm not to keen on it had it years I also have a an angel and carp etc depends what you like really search the net

I have one like the last pic but mine goes further down my arm and to the middle of my chest I prefer religious tats
 
Ah fair do's, I'm not after a tattoo with an image, I want more pattern
