Toda Spec B Camshafts

oh, my bad.. Yup between 250-300kgs. LOL

It must be so boring driving a RX-8... I can't imagine the Auto version and by looking at that video, mine and everyone elses 9 can beat it.

i saw a stock manual rx-8 on a dynojet, it only managed 178whp
Some kind of misunderstaning with RX-8........is it a 2.3 L? I heard that below 3000 rpm is 1.3 L and above that is 2.3 L. That's sound bit funny but I don't know if its true. Any-way, this car is not for me :D

whats bullshit?

blinx9900, I'm sorry, so I questioned you. You have right , so every Dyno's are different. I had dyno today and don't know if they dynojet suck or my car.
I had Max Power = 160.74
Max Torque = 103.59

@ 8700(the second run)
Run condition: 81.47 F , Humidity:40%

@ 1 run I had Power:159.75 Torque:104.23
How can I have less power at 1st run and more torque them in 2nd run?
I'm disappointed and confused.

thats actually a good number imo, stock b16a usually puts down 130whp on a dynojet so if your putting down 160 thats still 30whp more than a b16a and a little more than a stock gsr, i wouldent worry about the car, if it still feels good im sure its running just fine :nice:

wtf??? thats crazy and somewhat impossible.. it cant jump in displacement, its a 2 rotor rotary, there is no way it could be a 2.3, has to be 1.3

MugenEk9: What engine you got again?

Manos: I'm pretty sure it's just 1.3L, atleast thats what the specs say. The cool thing is that it makes maximum torque figure @ 5000rpm.

What's the thing with those rotary engines?? Its just a 1.3 and makes 230 bhp?? :wow: Whats the benefit of not using pistons?

the major benefit of a rotary is this: more power strokes per degree of crank rotation.

to me, they just sound S***. I can't believe with 230bhp and still revs so slow.

Man, I didn't know that those engines are so powerful......:nerv: I can hardly imagine a supercar with a 6 litre rotary behind its back!

6 litre? don't think thats possible... though I'm not sure on rotaries... blinx...

when it comes to ratarys anything is possible, ive seen 2 3 4 and even 5 rotor engines, all you need is a custom crank shaft and you could put together as many housings as you want :wow:

however a 6 litre would be an 8 rotor engine which would be VERY large so i dont think anybody would do it, plus there is already a 2.6L 4 rotor exotic making 500whp and its NA!

and yeah they do sound kind of annoying, very loud, even with mufflers and resonators. and they run REALLY hot.

Why?

When there are so many other better cams on the market for cheaper now. Get some cams from Rocket, they've seen some really healthy gains on the B18C.
