Shorter gearing for better acceleration, more tyre choice/stock, smaller sidewalls have less deflection so offer sharper steering feedback. there is NO advantage to 195/55 bar a wee bit of extra comfort
Also if you lower an ek9 enough they don't look odd at all, here's a photo of mine on 195/50 tyres, 15x6.5" wheels
I also ran 195/50 on standard wheels, looks fine again if the car is low enough
195/55/15 = 23.44" Rolling dia.
195/50/15 = 22.68"
~3.35% difference between the 2 sizes
In turn you just simulated for swapping out your stock 4.400 FD for a 4.547
Again small change but you should be able feel a slight increase in pull due to the Simulated Shorter FD.
