Tyres!

I have 2 good 195/55/15 RE-01R's for sale £150 delivered to your door, they have about 5mm of tread left i think, will double check tonight.

yokohama parada's on wet are a joke
my friend cant find traction on wet and they are also loosing their rubber too quick ! he owns then just 5000k and they had lost some serious rubber :nerv:

also t1r has too soft sidewalls that if you drive with low pressure you think your back of the car like jelly !

re11's has only one size what i mean when other tyres has left and right sides
re11 has only one size i dont like that too much
i think re01r is better than re11 but that is what i feel anyway lol ! :))

Can't fault R888, just had 2 new fronts put on, drive home over salty very cold roads and no hairy moments/loss of grip :p

tempted to try r888 then, some people say there ok for daily drivers etc, some dont

The people that don't are the people who haven't tried them

Keyboard warriorzzzz

Agree with steven, if you know your limits in your car and adapt your driving to the tyres your running in whatever weather condition then its no problem to be running the 888s in winter.

pleae tell me what tyre gets traction on the wet beacause im away to buy them asap if there that good .

if u need traction in the wet then your driving to harsh for weather conditions imo .

ok if i try 888's on std rims, what size would you suggest, think they are chunkier?

anyone know what actual tread patch is on 195 r888 ? just curiuos

i run yokohama c drive they are very good on wet even when my right foot feels heavy the car handles better than my previous tires.
(if i remember right was turanza)

ok decided against r888's now. so what other options do i have for a tyre that is available in the uk? i want 195-55-15, want something thats going to perform well, nice strong side wall, good grip etc, so what and where please?

If you want something that performs well, get 195/50

Smaller sidewall ->> sharper steering, slightly lower gearing, possibly a slight sacrifice of comfort

Depending what your budget is, i would reccomend parada spec 2's.... As much as people slate these i've seen them being used on track to good effect as well as being a good all round performer on road and don't cost the earth............ All these comments about people saying they have no grip in the wet is probably people not driving suitably to the conditions
