Update on my EK4

Looks great, some 9 headlights would go well with the gunmetal GT3's :nice:

Thanks guys and the 9 headlights is probably next on the agenda:drive:

This is one sweet car top marks!!! I have a 5 stud conversion the results are awesome! Keep it up!!! Oh an what do you do for work if you dont mind me asking?

I'm a mechanical engineer. Machining mainly, welding, fabricating, and fitting.:nice:

Had loads of overtime on recently. Hence all the goodies.:D

ijwhiteman how does it work adding the rear ek9 lip ? i want to do what you have done to your ek4 but my exhaust already sits on the bumper. how do you get round this?

If you buy genuine as i ended up doing there is actually very little difference between having it there and not. The clearance is very good and as long as it sits in the exit cut out it should be no problem.

very nice. looks very well after its make over. all you need now is they cams in

Update.

I have been rather busy recently what with going to Germany to visit the famous GREEN HELL (AKA Nurburgring), and just to add a 9mins 33sec lap in only 8 laps!! The car has developed a little more into a track biased car and i have began to strip weight and add some more parts. Carpet and plastics have now disappeared and i'm attempting to strip as much weight as possible.

On the list to be order or are on there way already is

Spoon style carbon mirrors
Seibon carbon bonnet OEM spec
EK9 Headlights
D2 coilovers to offer a stiffer setup and damping adjustment
ASR 22mm rear ARB and brace
Exedy light weight flywheel
Exedy Stage 1 clutch kit
7 point roll cage

Some parts already fitted for the Ring

Spoon lower frames

More updates in the following weeks.

Can't wait......

Savage car! Where did you get the Spoon B-Pipe, finding it hard to get one delivered.

Was thinking of a Seibon myself, nobody seems to know the exact weight of them though compared to oem? That and Im not sure I would have to paint it also.

take the time to remove all the tar bits and the firewall mat. Good for about 30lbs IIRC.

and seibon ought to know the weight of their own products. Give them a call or an email.... it's clear coated so paint is not necessary.

Looking really good ian. Love it mate! Makes me wanna strip mine out but i like my comforts to much lol!
