v-tec abusers turboed B18 'first page updated'


Battery is now going to be relocated into the boot to make way for a custom oil catch can. pics as and when i get them. hopefully just over a week away now :) :)
 
so the custom catch can should be made in the nxt few days or so. finishing off work over the nxt week and then mapping and dyno time the week after. they have given me a date to pic it up as the 1st of july.
over the last few days they have finished making my B-pipe and screamer pipe, only a slight trim required for the intercooler to fit behind the bumper, BOV is fitted..... i think its starting to get there

JDP..... yeah ive met Tom a few times and he seemed like a sound chap. it would look like they take pride in there work as well which is always a bonus.
 
Yea they do, they made a custom rear i/c setup on my mates mr2 and it was stupidly sexual!!!
 
wow it looks so goo din the engine bay almost has a stock look to it... looks like the turbo should always be there its looks very tidy in the bay...
Hopefully i'll one day see this car..

What make is the manifold??
right jimbo i found out at long last. the manifold is built by a company called 'go autoworks' looks like a really well built bit of kit.

the 'b' pipe has been heat wrapped

the people who did the B18 conversion left the wiring harness in a complete state so that need sorting out, new harness then the ecu can be fitted ready for the fire up at the end of the week

and lastly the rocker cover has been painted and fitted. looks brilliant in the sun. its a lotus purple, which one i dont know.

all thats got to happen in the engine bay now is the custom catch can where the battery used to be and they need to make a different header tank as the oem one hits the intercooler pipe work.
