Vtec6000's EK9 - Update pg6


Alot of good work and effort put into this car :) keep it up vtec :D
 
That will probably expain why i have seen more turbo b16a around i wasnt aware thanks for the info! Great work car is a credit! We all know in Ireland you dont see many turbo Vtecs around!! :D

@vtec6000: i read your post why you went from b16b to b16a but why not go to b18 and turbo it instead!?
 
Had the pleasure of driving this. Drives very smooth and you got to love a boosted b series.you really have to have a good hold of the steering wheel when you pushing her on, she likes to torque steer.
Ha a HONDA WITH TORQUE. And such a sleeper,sounds good too

but still for me , b16b is the heart and soul of the CTR....:) peace

Yeah I had taught of spraying them but didn't bother in the end just wanted to get the damn thing finished haha.

stock gearbox/lsd. It does tend to torque steer now when on boost gotta hold the steering wheel well when passing out:nerv: the t1r tyres aren't doing me any favours either.

Aonghus, so your heads lifting to lol. Remember me saying that i turned it up to 1bar and had the same problem lol.
 
I really wanted to see some 9 like that when I was in Ireland...
I hope we ll meet us.

I think that I'll live there in September and with my civic it ll be more easily to meet some people

Yep gonna fit some headstuds and hopefully that will keep the mofo down lol. It over boosted to 1.6bar at one stage and I think that streched the bolts as it was fine on 1bar till after that.

Sounds like a plan. 1.6 bar lol... Poor engine. I bet mines gunna start lifting badly with the surfer on. I have a set of arp's but i dont want to use them on this engine. I want to save them for my forged block.
