hi guys..recently my ride has reached its 100k plus reading on the dashboard..

should i start to be concern?..what problems will i encounter in the near future?

should i let go of my sweet honda?

my car is not a daily driven car..yes, i get some occasional drag races but that is very rare..and i really take good care of it too..its just that seeing that 100k plus reading on the dash makes me feel bad.

any of you has this same feeling, like you feel your ride is getting old, and like old things they will someday break..

what do you think guys?

No, 100k is nothing on a Honda. Just look after it and service it regular

keep it serviced and keep enjoying it,, 100K is fine on hondas,, My brothers DC2 has done 125,000 odd miles and it still gets regular trackday action, performs like the day it was made and doesent burn any oil,

100k please. on a honda is like a walk on the park my friends db8 has 292k and still running strong. the key is take good care of it,maintenace on time.

Don't worry mate, his life has just began at 100kkm!
take care of it as you did during past years and keep it serviced.
You won't be betraied, it's an Honda! :naughty:

My B16A2 EM1 is at 155,000+ miles ! still strong beats my friends EM1 which has only 80k all about the servicing and how well its looked after

lets say if we have a light tuned engine (i/h/e tuned ecu basic mods) that reduces it's life ?

Your time in that honda is only starting now! No need to worry about 100k! Keep her serviced and KEEP HER LIT! :)

Listen up ... I have a EJ6 in the us .... 1996 and this chassis is still good not a bit of rust no signs of bad damage or week parts my original d16 with WAY over 250K MILES just blew .... After 250K lol 250K .... Lmaoo you've got nothing to worry about. Becuz
1. Its a honda
2. Its a B series and
3. Its probably not a 96 lol

No way don't get rid of it ... As a matter of fact I'm still using my chassis and puttong in another motor so that chassis will have mega miles on it but I trust her and I take care of her ... That's the key ... :nice:

100K miles? Its time to give it up, go to newer civics for sure. Just get rid of it ASAP...I can help with that too, sign it over to me and I will take off your hands, nooooo problem! ;) lol

thanks a lot for the input guys...after reading all your posts..ill be keeping it and enjoy it more =)...oh, by the way i never owned a french car..im from philippines

My brothers dc2 is on 140k and is still running perfect no smoke nothing wrong with it everything is still mint, 100k is when hondas get better haha
