Would a 4 stud EK9 look weird?

Hi all,

Currently i have a EK4 SiR which i converted to 4x114.3 because i got a huge bargain on a set of these;

I'm looking to upgrade into an EK9 preferably a Phoenix Yellow one :secret:
My friend is buying my car who is wanting to put the original 4x100 hubs on the car so i will have my current hubs lying around ready for the 9...

Would i ruin the originality of the 9, the thing is these wheels are perfect for a ek civic, they suit it perfectly but do i sell them hoping there is another set in 5 stud around? or stick my hubs on?

For those wheels I think it will be grand mate.. Lovely wheel.. It will look a bit strange but people have done it before.. Will you be up grading your brakes as the brakews will be smaller on the 4x114
 
couldnt you sell your wheels for a good amount and just get another set in 5stud?
 
why would it look weird? its wheel bolt pattern not like youve fitted a supercharger that sticks out the bonnet lol

pfft mate, if you have got an ek9 you have an ek9, studs makes no diffrence does it?
personally if i owned an ek9 and some spotter came over and said oooo i this a replica, i'd not even correct him...yea its a fake i spent thousands on it making it look like one, even printed the chassis code look....ooo it says ek9...yea do one dick head. :)):))

Yeah exactly, the main reason any one buys a EK9 is because of how they drive and how it makes you feel. So ignore other people and just go for a drive :D
 
As said above, I have done it and couldn't care less if anyone thinks it looks weird. It's my car and I like it. :D

I say go for it! Good choice of wheel to do it for. :drool:

Yeah i need to get them on an EK9 then step back and look at it and then i wouldn't care whether it was a 4 stud :D
 
I've thought about converting to four stud purely because of the choice of wheels in 4x100 I keep seeing for sale.

all this proof, doesnt matter what wheel configuration, colour, seats or anything else, you still have yourself a pretty ek9, most ek9 spotters dont even own one themselves! do what ever you want its yours! plus those rpf1's are awesome!
