Hi guys,

I hear a loud whirring noise coming from the rear of my car once I get to about 50mph and over. First of all I thought it was a wheel bearing or something....turns one was shot, which has been changed. However I noticed some noise still there.

I've had a garage look at the car and check all the bearings etc but they said it is just tyre noise due to the cut of the Parada's?

I guess it is possible as the EK9 lacks some sound deading.

Who else running these tyres thinks they are noisey?

I am running Parada spec-2's on my teg mate.

There is a little bit of road noise but not a lot compairing them to say R888 wich are really noisey on the road!

Yep my parada spec 2s have a good bit of road noise than other tyres I have had in the past

i aslo have spec 2 didnt know tires make that much noise??

You want to try R888 mate, i thought my wheel bearings had gone when i first used them on the road!

no wonder when i turned off the music and had the windows down there was a woooosing noise.

That how it sounds to me now..like I have a wheel bearing gone!

Only seems to be coming from the rears though..or sounds like that?

I have parada spec II on the em1 and have this whirling noise or "whop, whop, whop" noise that turns into a whirl at 70mph, thought my wheel bearings where dead but i think its the tires to be honest because i had Toyo T1R's on before and it never did the noise, now that i have paradas all round it dose it!

hardly make any noise for me

Was just thinking my car is lowered and dosnt have camber adjusters so the strange bumpy tread of the spec ii will be closer to the road and not be riding flat as it should maybe that's why I have noise?

Do Honda garages do free checkups?
