Ebay TDM Header and skunk2 pro 1 camshafts :(
 
I've not done much to mines yet but for the now probably my full custom exhaust as the backbox looks terrible, asked for it to be jap style and wanted it angled, instead they angled it the wrong way and looks like its hanging off!
 
Blox LCA's... the bushes on them are ****.

Replica OEM lip...do i need to say why? lol

Ebay exhaust..sounded ****, and because of this i was charged n fitted the wrong b-pipe too!

worst mod has got to be a S80 gearbox!! soo **** for the moneys!

ended up buying a short ratio gearset with spoon lsd which it 100times better!!
 
Did a Mini-Me Swap on my D16Y7... Turn out it leaked mad oil from the head gasket and eventually went through a litre of oil a week... Totally my bad...

After that I swapped over to a B16B and it's been golden every since :drive:
 
I am about to pick up my first EK9, and the first of the 'things to go', will be the fake carbon 'monza' gear knob, fake carbon razo pedals covers, and the weird PIAA 'aero' wiper blade things.....or maybe I will keep them ha ha...

Bloody hell I think you're the first person to admit that one! :shocked:

I remembered another one. I borrowed a shifter extension, was told it would make me feel like I was driving a racing car with the knob next to the wheel. All it did in reality was make the throw so long it felt like I was driving a tractor and amplified all the slack in the linkage so it felt as vague as a met office weather forecast.
 
^^^ Couldnt Agree more about the shifter! And also the S80.... Until i put a new 4th and 5th in!

2 more things I forgot to add,

Shifter Extension,

Blox Rear droplinks !
 
Tegiwa black bolts for the engine bay rusted up within a week!
 
Nothing really to say about my current car but my old EJ9, the Spoon replica spolier when fitted looked gash. Within 2/3 days i lost £50+
 
it has to be when i put angel eyes headlights on my first vti civic :slap:
 
For my worst mod's i have to go back to having the Swift Sport, I had decided I wanted to sell it 6 months after I bought it (ended up with it for a year and a half) and I bought:

MCR Crimson exhaust: £900
5Zigen Manifold: £600

Return on these when I sold them to a mate: £800 and I had only the use of them for 4 months tops haha :(

Lesson I have learned, never buy expensive stuff for a car you aren't going to keep.
 
Not for the reasons you may suspect.

aem v1 + suprise storm = hydrolocked EH3 :/ Luckily no damage (no, really)
 
cometic street pro gasket set when rebuilding the engine ended up replacing with honda when i realised how **** they were
