Proper build going on there with some crazy ideas comming to life. Interested in the company where you got you head work done, sounds like they have done a great job on it. Looking foward to see the whole thing together working and running.

A company in California called Portflow design

cylinder head porting, porting engines, import drag racing, honda performance parts, mitsubishi evo 8, subaru wrx performance, k-series, wrx parts, flow testing, head porting, valve springs, v-tec, wrx, engine valves, porting, honda engines

My head is the top level of port and polish work they offer plus multi angle valve job, mirror surface, springs, retainers, inconel ex valves etc etc etc

New rev counter I picked up for the build, its a auto meter monster tach with all sorts of handy functions, the scale gives you some idea on how high I plan to rev the motor.

This is why I have brought an ati super damper to sit on the end of the crank (im after the cam drive pulley that goes behind this if anyone has one) to combat harmonic waves, this is the race version with no drive for power steering or a/c.

Few more pics of the turbo for the build, its a precision 6765 cea ceramic ball bearing turbo with billet compressor wheel

I had no choice in compressor cover size, I had to go for the compact T04 style cover as the Hp cover would simply not fit between one of the exhaust runners and the block, I have to shave part of the block to get it to fit as it is

I think the turbo hit me for around $2200 plus shipping, I dont keep recipts as I dont want the missus to find out, shes pissed as it is that I work 70-80 hours a week to pay for it. Thanks for the kind words though chaps.

Lol at the missus, i try and keep my spending on the quiet to. Fair play for putting all the work in though !!! I'm sure you'll get just as much out of it as you've put in !!! :)

awesome build dude, this should be a animal on track...nice array of quality parts used which is always a good sign, glwb

After a rubbish day at work I got home to find this waiting for me

photo-86.jpg

Opened it up and bang, a limited edition black Edelbrock victor x as a late christmas present from the missus, made up

photo-87.jpg

The opening in the end of the manifold is made for a maximum of a 68mm throttle so needed to be opened up a little for my 72mm bdl throttle

photo-88.jpg

Not having a great deal of tools at home I marked it out and opened it up with a round file and finished it off with a flap wheel in the end of a drill.

photo-97.jpg

Now with throttle fitted to see the match, it went on and off a few times before it was perfect, thought I may aswell trial fit it up to the engine with fuel rail etc
