Up for sale is my CW 1997 Civic Type-R EK9
The car was imported in 2008 by the reputable importer Duncan Crawford (fast Jap cars) and Iâm the 3rd owner since it being in the UK. The car is fully de-restricted and converted to MPH.
Tax: 31/08/12
MOT:29/08/12
86800 miles
OEM parts fitted by previous owner:
Honda cam belt
Honda tensioner
new aux belts
new Honda thermostat
Honda coolant
Honda fuel filter
new ngk blue leads
Honda distrubitercap
Honda rotary arm
skunk 2 magnetic drain plugs
full underside clean down and full waxoil, behind arch liners, bumpers, sideskirts, rear interior trims removed waxoiled in behind etc.(used around 8 litres)
The car is in extremely good condition inside and out as people who have seen this car will vouch for. Since owning it I have done a few tweaks and added a few sort after parts which make the car stand out from the rest.
Spec list:
Engine:
Modified OEM intake with spoon filter and cold air feed
Seeker 4-2-1 manifold 2.5â collector
ACT lightweight flywheel
Tegiwa 2.5â de-cat
Fujitsubo power getter cat-back
Energy engine mount inserts
Magnetic sump plug
Transmission:
S80 box with 4.7 FD with 4th and 5th from the EK9 box
Cusco plated diff - amazing!
New OEM clutch fitted when flywheel was fitted
Magnetic gearbox plug
Chassis/brakes:
Nearly new Rota slipâs with parada spec 2 tires all round (front's getting low)
Meister R coilovers
Spoon rear lower brace
D2 rear LCAâs in purple
Ferodo DS2500 front pads *200 miles use
Hel SS brake lines front and rear *200 miles use*
Motul RBF 600 fluid *200 miles use*
Yellow stuff rear pads
Hardrace bush kit
MISC:
TRS green tow strap
Purple anodised D1 spec lightweight wheel nuts
Alpine flip up stereo with aux lead (flip mechanism is sticky)
Cat 1 alarm (unsure on make)
Also since owning I have had the car fully laser aligned due to me fitting the coilovers. It had Motul 5-40 fully synthetic oil with a HAMP filter 500 miles ago. Along with NGK iridum plugs and R synchro gearbox oil. CV boots were also replaced just last week as well as a nearside CV joint.
Bad bits:
Passenger seat has quite a bit of wear (previous owner swapped it with the drivers seat)
Couple of car park dings which Iâve noticed but are hard to spot on a white car 
Two manifold bolts have snapped off in the head due to them being seized. Manifold doesnât blow though so I never bothered getting this done.
Thatâs every I can think of for now. If you have any questions please donât hesitate to ask. I can get any pictures you wish so just give me a holla!
Not in any hurry to sell really. Just testing the water as is, if it doesnât sell then Iâll be returning the car to standard and selling all the parts on.
Reason for selling is Iâve been saving like mad for a year and a half for a house deposit and selling the car will give me the last chunk I need to possibly have a big enough deposit to go buy my first house 
Price is £6000 firm for now. Or £5700 with OEM wheels with two NEW PARADA'S
Thanks
