2000 Black EK9 Type RX (Mega Spec)

I cant belive this car is for sale now if it were a couple of months down the line I would have it.

Thanks for the pics, who re-built the engine and who mapped it ?

Judging by the sticker on the plug cover, Agra in Dundee built it, they are renowned for making solid engines for alot of people competing in hillclimbs etc, very good name!

Will aka EK9Turbo on here mapped the car

Stunning car though, must be sad to have to sell up, just hope it goes to someone who will take care of it :(

all engine building was carried out by agra engineering in dundee

car has been mapped by will hinchcliffe aka ek9turbo

Thanks for fielding the questions on the car Jock, Steven etc... :nice:

...as any potential buyer can see, this car is really well known north of the border and a lot of people will vouch for the attention to detail and expense thats gone into the specification, the condition of the car and the performance that it offers. Hopefully that'll go some way to put a potential buyer at ease before travelling hundreds of miles to see it (since most of the interest I've had is from England).

I am open to offers around £8000 on the car now (please dont take the p!ss though!!), remember there are bills for over £20,000 that come with this car, the gearbox alone was around £4500-£5000 from memory?!

However, the car is sitting in the garage looking bored (lol) and ideally I'd like the car away before the run up to Christmas.

Surprised this hasn't been snapped up yet! I'd probably sell my Rx for a silly price to have a punt if you weren't so far north.

Have you thought about a px on another EK9, I bet someone would trade in theirs for a bargain price and it might be less of a ballache selling a cheap one (or using it) and plus you'd free up some cash at the same time?

£8000 :wow::shocked: I paid £8500 for my EK9 a year n half ago and all it had was A Spoon N1, Spoon ECU and an AEM V2  £8000 is a total and utter Bargain!! I so wish i could just afford the little extra n buy this!

CW, I have considered doing a deal on another EK9.. however a couple of things have put me off. Firstly, I wouldn't get on with using another one after having this one with all the bells and whistles. Secondly, while I'm willing to accept a small part exchange, I need to free up the cash to buy something more suited to sitting on the motorway which I can keep for a while since I'm bored of hopping from one car to another.

Stuarty, tell me about it!! I've had a lot of interest, gone from 0 to 42 PM's since I put the car up for sale, however none has been concrete interest and unfortunately some have been part exchange deals which I'm not in a position to accept.

Although I know its quite a balls out move, I know a few people take their cars off the road for the winter for modifications... I'm actually surprised that someone hasn't decided to buy my car, swap out the trick bits into their car and punt my car on as a standard-ish low mileage Type RX. It would certainly be cheaper than doing things from scratch anyway!!

Grant

i sold my 350Z there 2 weekends ago

really sorry for any delays, at the moment looking after my mum a lot when im not up in aberdeen, she is ill

always did say if i was ever to come back to an ek9, i would want a mental one

DriftR, dont worry about it mate... I understand that family comes first, end of the day, a car is only a car!! I don't mind bringing the car along the road for you to have a nosey at if you're finding it hard to get time to pop through?

Cheers,
Grant

If you were living further south this would have gone by now, if you ever take a driving holiday to Somerset in this beast give me a PM and I'll bring a suitcase full of money...then I'd have two EK9's. Have you thought about bringing it further south for a viewing day?
