Cant believe im doing this, but after 2 months of careful consideration my EK9 is now for sale! The main reason being I am having to use the car more to get to work which is racking up the mileage!

Price - £7600 - Reflects condition and modifications.

Its a year 2000 RX model in excellent condition inside and out with 75,871 miles. The car was imported just over a year ago by FastJapCars or 'Dunx' on this forum and I am the first UK owner.
The car has been garaged every night and hardly driven throughout the winter just gone. Clocks have been converted to miles and limiter removed by Duncan (certificate for proof).

Oil + filter is changed every 2-4k depending on how hard the car is driven, with the gearbox oil changed every other time! Engine oil is always Millers CFS 5w-40 full synthetic, HAMP oil filters and Landrover MTF94 (same as Honda MTF fluid) for the gearbox.

Car is always maintained regardless of cost and burns no oil or water! Gearbox is also very smooth with no crunches or grinding.

OEM parts replaced (All brand new from Honda);

OEM Cambelt and Tensioner done @ 60k miles.
OEM Thermostat.
OEM headlights.
OEM wiper arms.
OEM rear droplinks.
OEM rear brake nipples and bolts.
OEM roof strips.
OEM stickers (rear and offside).
OEM inner door membranes.
OEM front and rear 'H' badges.
OEM Fuel filter.
OEM bumper supports.
OEM rear light seals (to stop the light leaking, common fault with the civic)
OEM pollen filter (filters the air from heaters).
OEM Aircon bulkhead rubber bung.
OEM Aircon block off plate.

Modifications include;

15" Volk Rays TE37 in white.
Volk Rays black locking wheel nuts.
Volk Rays blue valves.
Volk Rays blue valve caps.
Bridgestone RE-01r's all round.

MeisterR fully adjustable coilovers.
Hardrace front camber adjusters.
Hardrace rear camber adjusters.
Skunk2 limited edition rear lower arms.
Carbing 3 point front upper strut brace (aluminium). *
Carbing rear upper strut brace (aluminium).
Carbing rear lower strut brace (Steel).
Carbing front lower strut brace (steel).
Blue titanium nuts and washers for front upper struts.
Innovative black billet engine mounts with 65A inserts.

Exedy stage 1 clutch. *
MFactory lightweight flywheel (4.2kgs). *
MFactory engine/gearbox magnetic plugs.

Front Dixcel slotted discs.
Rear EBC plain discs.
EBC yellowstuff pads all round. *
HEL braided lines all round.
Brakes bled using Motul RBF600 fluid.

MFactory short shifter. *
MFactory Shifter bushing kit.

NGK Blue tension leads.
Skunk2 black solonoid cap.
Spoon intake elbow.
K & N panel filter. *
Aircon removed. *

Black sunstrip professionally fitted on inside of windscreen.
Capital seating Recaro seat cover.
Bosch flat wiper blades.
2 heavy duty engine earth leads.
Oakley resevoir socks.
Fog light integrated into rear light cluster.
Rear strut cut-outs fited with rubber trim.

* - OEM parts will be provided with the sale.

Every modification, service, bulb, nut & bolt has been documented in an excel spreadsheet and all receipts kept for new owner!

Only ever ran on Shell VPower and occasionally BP ultimate.

Very carefully driven until fully warmed up, as this is when the most damage is done to an engine! Also cooled down properly.

I very rarely have people in the back so the rear seats and mats are literally new! Both recaro's are mint with no rips or tears - look new! And the front floor mats are mint as I have been using black DC2 ones to preserve the original type R red ones.

The car has 11 months MOT remaining. And Taxed until 31/12/10.

The only real thing I can think of that the car needs the drivers side 'Type R' sticker is missing, a decent alarm system and there are a few stone chips on the bonnet which is to be expected on a 10 year old car!

No rust at all on the car and has never been resprayed or repaired.

Within the last 3k miles the car has had; Coolant flush (Honda type 2 coolant), Engine oil change (Millers CFS 5w40), Honda OEM oil filter + crush washer, Gearbox oil (Landrover MTF94), NGK Platinum spark plugs, NGK Blue tension leads, K & N filter cleaned, Cleaned idle control valve, Bled clutch and brakes with Motul RBF600.

I can almost guarantee the first genuine buyer who comes to look at the car will buy it!

Get loan. Do buy.

Added a couple more pics!

Thanks for the comments guys. She is a real minter and thats one of the main reasons I just cant bare to use it daily - I refuse to drive it in winter when they start salting the roads, seriously I would rather hitch hike than let the salt destroy this clean example!

You should of seen Duncans face when I was inspecting it picking out tiny chips etc.. at one point im sure he said you would be better just buying a new car because im that fussy! :))

Now advertised on Pistonheads :( - would prefer it to go to a forum member so I can follow the build progress etc..

Ah, I think everyone gets who owns a performance car they love gets 'winter blues'. I hope you don't regret the decision next summer!

Looks brilliant anyway, how many miles has it done in the UK?
