Hi, random but anyone used tattoo numbing cream? Does it work? Which one did you use? I've not used it before and the previous tattoos haven't been too bad, however, I'm getting something a bit big and its going on the shoulder, collar bone, shoulder blade and slightly on the rib...I have a feeling it's going to hurt!

No don't get it mate it doesn't work like what you think I've been advised by alot of tattooists not to use it they don't recommend it I have a load of tattoos all over and they are all big piece and I have never used the stuff be a man lol

I know, I'm being a wuss!

Any idea why tattooist don't recommend it? Is it purely because it's a waste of money?

Yes mate I have been to 3 maybe 4 tattooists for all mine and they all say the same it stop the ink from entering the skin in some daft way all them say it's a waste of money mate I'm going back to get mine finished and I'll ask again I wouldn't recomend it due to the negative feedback the tattooists have told me

x2 and dont take painkillers before you go in as it thins your blood and your making life hard for the tattooist, just think happy thoughts lol

jus get any kind of cream that keeps the skin moist such as vaseline etc and use it for a couple of times a day sould heal within a couple of weeks im on number 6 now and not stopping there haha
