hey just thought id make a project thread to start off my b20 build in my jordan civic.Atm the car is running the standard b16a2 engine with a few mods.tho im only going to be able to use my integra type r box exedy clutch and flywheel and finally my 5zigen manifold.
spec of what i have so far.
ek9 head:
ported and polished
skunk 2 pro cams,high comp race valves,double valve springs,and titanium valve tops
aem venier pulleys
rc uprated injectors
large throttle body
hondata intake gasket
b18 type r intake mani
32x oem collets
16x oem valve stem seals and gaskets
and new cam seals and gaskets.

spec for b20 bottom end:
golden eagle conversion kit
new oil and water pump
block guard
golden eagle vtec headgasket
high comp 12.0 cp pistons
eagle rods
acl race bearings
arp head studs

things still to get is p28/30 ecu and conversion harness tho i have that sorted just need paid next week and a skunk2 3" full exhaust which will be ordered at end of next week to.

thats the one thing im not sure about you see i bought the bottom end with that spec so im guessing its going to be fine but its getting rebuilt anyways so if it needs a new one itll get one lol i only wana build the car once so im doing it right the 1st time
 
It will be a weapon when its built with the b20:nice:

Whos building the b20 btw?
 
Forgot to ask, what suspension do you have in the Jordan? Sits well!
 
think ur right but i cant remember what it is lol and hopefully getting it built buy a guy willy and tuning im still looking around
 
does the guy Willy work from a place in Ballymena?
 
he seems to work up this end of the country yeah mate. supposed to be really good
 
Have you already built the motor? If not ditch the blockguard, waste of money... If you already bought it just make sure it gets installed BEFORE you bore/hone the block. Also don't forget to replace the distributor O-ring, i forgot to do that and i have a wee leak now :(

Will be a fast jordan for sure. Why did you go for stage 2 cams etc?
 
they came with the ek9 head i bought mate,cant wait to build it and to blinx the block guard has already been installed.
One question tho will my standard drive shafts stick the torque and power this engine will have?

I ran stock 20 year old CRX shafts with 250bhp/164ft/lbs with no issues
