yeah thats the thing guys, its only a car and the main thing is nooone was hurt. No point being upset about it...plus it means all you vultures will benefit from all the cool parts on it! hahah

x2!:) get an S15, they are mint! 350Z's are nothing special, I've had a shot and everyone I know who had one didnt like them!

a stock 350z would wipe the floor with an s15, in straight line or round the twisties. the 350z's also feel much nicer to drive, even the autos are a dream to drive (we used to import them in large numbers).

s15's are nice, but will never involve you anywhere near as much as a driver, plus SR's are probably the worst sounding engine ever.
can be very fun in straight lines and when blapping sideways though, which they do very well (even at times when you dont want them to :naughty:)

I never said S15's were quicker I just dont like 350z's! S15's look much nicer too and they are rarer! I once had a race with a 350z in my mates Scooby tho and bye bye!:))

Sorry to hear about the accident Dunsy :( Saw your car up at the SMC show this year and was hoping to get some knockhill banter with your ek9 once mine is built.

Hate being a vulture but PM if you do decide to break the car, i'll take a couple of bits off you.

wait...Did someone say buy back repair and K Swap?

Jag, this is the reason i cant bear to see it go,...been thinking alot recently (obviously) and it depends on what they offer me for it. but i would love to fix it up and whack a K20 in there, then use it for KH, what you got planned for an EK9 mate, would imagine its gonna be mental :D

Obviously if they offer me buttons for it, i will need to rethink my plan but it could be brought back from the dead... its just a waiting game now :)

There is no stuctural damage at all, its all cosmetic, so we shall see what happens

Sounds like a good plan man, you know you want to keep it and k20 it :)

That's what i'm doing, i've picked up a caged EK9 that i'm going to drop a K-series into and use it for a track car and eventually go racing hopefully. Will post a couple of pics of it later.
 
Sucks to here about that man,

I say, take your money and run. IMO

No point spending all that money fixing it and putting a k series in it, on a car that you have grown bored of, i don't thing throwing £10k+ at the EK9 will make you fall in love with it again.......

Just take your m oney and buy something new, make a fresh start.

Been quoted for engine swap...very do able, just need to wait and see what Mr insurance man says :)

haha i was considering one of those mate

There is a new plan on the horizon and if it works out i could end up in another ek9 with all my good parts from my car :p

Fingers crossed although not going to get my hopes up
