Whats yours like?

Mine is ****, can't move it at all, can move my mam and dads cars easily but mines stuck.
Down to the tyres i believe, running Hankook RS-2s and there isnt and mixed/v-grooved tread patter at all in the centre. Even on flat ground with the snow right down the car just sits there, moves slightly with people pushing :D
Was fine last year on the V12 EVOs lol

So today I am working from home :(

Anyone else snowed in or stuck?
We have loads of snow here, none of the side streets have been gritted and its still coming down out there.

my car is always garaged but even if i was to attempt to go out in the snow i would get knowhere :p

Funny I was about to ask this question today. I take it they are poor then? aha

light, very low bottom end tourque and wide tyres for teh size of car,,, doesen't make for a good snow car,, unless you fit winter tyres....................

I thought the LSD would make things easier, personally find it worse.
Got a text off my mam earlier who had no bother at all.

"Should have got a saxo"

lol :D

Mine was fine this morning. Stopped and helped a 4x4 driver who was stuck then drove away easily past them.

It's not snowed here yet, but last year mine was utterly hopeless with a Quaife diff and Toyo T1Rs. Obviously most of this is attributed to the driver but they tyres really are rubbish and the LSD doesn't appear to do dick all in very low grip conditions.

Mine is terrible just turns into a snow plough, touch wood Newport is snow free

This is the main reason for my B18 conversion - more TQ for snow driving.

Holy &*(^, knee deep??? We only got a few centimeters here for the first time this season. My car (EG) does ok, but it's noticable that I don't have winter tires :D

driving my ek4 today in 4 inches of snow, no bother at all! ive new T1R's all round which i think helps.

I put my ek9 into the garage and it aint coming out till this weather is gone. I drove it a fair bit last year and it did ok but have the van now so ek9 wont see snow again

I used to live in Germany 15 years ago and my dads old winter tires are up there, took them down yesterday and there in good nick! Going to fit them Wednesday will let you know how I get on with them, I'm expecting some kind of improvement

i am on the hunt for some winter tyres, but most places seem to be out of stock.

camskill doing T1-rs at £29 each. Might just get 2 of those, got more tread pattern than my hankooks thats for sure!

T1R isn't so good in the wet, let alone snow...think it will be a waste of money.

So I think we can come to the conclusion that civics suck in the snow especially with track tyres?
Damn :(
I'm tempted to buy a £200 fiesta just for the snow
