Dunsys EK9


Prob one of my fave EK9's. Looked proper track slag with the old cage etc... Makes ma wanna keep mine
 
I know this is an old thread but its the only one with the brake upgrade I want to do. If your still about Dunsy could you let me know where you got the ATR calipers and discs? also will they fit over my 98spec ITR alloys?
Are they a good upgrade over stock EK9 brakes?
Do i need to upgrade the rear brakes if I upgrade the fronts to the ATR set up?

Always loved this car and hope Spudski is looking after it! :)

mertin/adam is selling ATR setup over on jdmy0 right now im sure dude.

they are better than ek9 brakes being 300mm and twinpot calipers and you dont need to upgrade the back brakes to run them

Perfect but will they fit under my alloys?

From the research i've done I don't think your wheels will fit, there isn't alot of 15's that will. TD's, SSR RF-PRO Firenze, possibly Buddy Club P1's, im sure there will be a few others.

And yup I am looking after the car :)

Perfect cheers mate. Aw well I will have to look at other brake options as I love my wheels!

Hi Ramboteamjon - You say your running 98 spec ITR wheels? do you mean JDM 98 spec wheels? If so theyre 16's???

Or are you referring to UKDM wheels (15's)??

If you are running 15's, maybe sell them on the ITR forum and get the 16's? or reps that Tegiwa sell? So will fill the arch and makes a CW EK9 sit perfect :nice:
 
Most 15" wheels willnae fit. 98spec jdm itr wheels fit.

Easiest conversion to do, search my threads there is a write up on here on how to

Hey Kaka, mines are defo 15s so must be the UKDM ITR wheels. thanks for the advice, i would love to do the brake upgrade but i like my wheels so much and not really up for gettin 16s:(
