E46 M3 knockhill MU track night

was still a bit wary in the back of my mind that it is RWD! just need to pay a bit more attention to throttle when driving it, the EK9 you could just be alot more aggressive with your driving style and get away with it

Was that the forward or reverse track?
Was up there racing a couple of weekends ago doing the reverse track. Just dipped into the 1:01s in qualifying.
140bhp, RWD and running 195x50x50 V70a hard compound :D

forward track!

Love the square setup, vid is great too. Power delivery looks a different level.

Is that grey M3 running a square setup too? 4 rear wheels?

love the Sticker reminiscent of the EK9 :nice:

the throw between gears on that shifter looks incredibly tight, very nice :)

not only does it look fast it looks effortless as well, thats not to say there was no effort, sure you know what i mean haha

Very nice car and driving :win:

Ive been browsing pistonheads for one if these now

Misses is goin mad ha

cheers guys!

exhaust will be staying standard, for track vids i should probably fold the rear seats down as you get so much more note in the car!! future plans include......

- recaro SPA's (on the way, will re-cover them eventually so they are mint)
- macht schnell floor mounts / recaro sliders & sidemounts (on the way to fit the seats)
- genuine CSL bootlid (on the way)

all that should be fitted in time for Germany in August, will do another alignment check, change the plugs and oil + bleed the brakes again before i head off

over next winter i will investigate fitting a carbon airbox for some extra noise + a few more horses, also a lightweight flywheel and new oem clutch

don't plan on caging the car tbh, just tidy up some areas and get it as mint as possible but at the same time keep it well serviced and prime for some abuse :)

sweet gnna be even more of a wepon then

Looking tidy Steven, V70 best tyre for the money at the moment, running them in hard also, price of an A048 is insane, how did you find them? Bit of a price difference from 15" mind!

Needs more noise! :D

tell me about it, £800 for a set of 4 for this :((

they are great though!! lots of grip and seem to wear well on track even for such a heavy car, in the wet they are predictable enough
