factory ek9 caliper colour

Going to 'refurb' my calipers at some point this week but i'm wondering what colour do the calipers on the ek9 come from factory?
a previous owner painted the calipers on mine pink which is absolutely awful..
I'm thinking either black or red but don't want it looking too tacky or 'chavvy'
what are peoples thoughts?
I have 5 spoke inovits that show quite a lot of the calipers so i'm trying to keep this in mind.

it's CW so against the idea of doing them white,
gold really?
i think i'm going to go for just plain hammerite black.. that way they don't stand out too much, cheers guys
 
mne are a bit darker gold than that.

probably re-painted by the previous owner mind !
 
I think they look pretty good gold, black looks ok but I like to see my callipers.
 
I do also like the gold but I'm the opposite..
I have 16" wheels that reveal quite a lot of the caliper so I have done them black. They aren't anything amazing or aftermarket so I'm not keen to show them off lol

That's fair enough I suppose.
Any colour looks better than the horrible mess they turn into when they are old/dirty.
 
I've seen plenty of Calipers sprayed and I think Galvo is the best colour to spray them, they look fresh behind wheels and look brand new if done properly
 
Yeah I can see how it would look nice, if I had brembos or big calipers I'd go for red I think, to go with the red recaro's and to stand out :)
 
Normally I would as well tbh, if I had brembo's or a big brake kit then they would definitely be red!
