Got a set of Tein super street coilovers for an EK9 to go onto my EK hatch.

I fitted them but the front sits rather high. With the fronts wound right down I can get 3 fingers into the gap between the wheel and the arch which is higher than when I had 35mm Eibach pro kit springs on.

I know with super streets the car wont be slammed, which isnt what I would want anyway, It just seems unusally high at the front.
The rears are perfect, problem is only with the front which leads me to think, are they ment to sit kinda high at the front or do the springs just take a while to settle?

Well it looks like the front coilovers werent sitting fully in the front forks.

Afterwards (with the aid of a hammer and a second jack):

Yeah it seems like a silly mistake but I am kinda glad thats all it was.
Still, it didnt really want to go into the fork any further, it had to be 'persuaded' :p

Lucky you copped that! Car looks sweet can yu get more full pics up?

is that the coilovers dropped as far as they go??(not that i want to go any lower)

Thats the fronts dropped down as far as they will go, the backs still have around an inch of thread left. The ride is very good, feels alot more planted and is still comfortable.

Once I get some decent shots, I will post them up :)

Cheers

get them corner weighted and alignment checked :nice:to get full potential
