I just sold my car and theres a 97 EK9 for 5000 euro n i want it so bad!!! the only prob is my insurance im 19 with full license and 2 years no claims bonus, living in dublin ireland! wat do i do coz no insurance company will touch me on a EK9???:ek9:
 
There's guys on here in your situation who have insurance, so it must be possible.

Failing that, if you still can't find a company to insure you, bite the bullet and wait another year or so. Patience is a virtue my friend..
 
im insured with quinn fully comp on my ek9

was 19 when i got the car

all mods declared too

paying €1800

yea i transfered my insurance over from my saxo vts 2 months after my 19th birthday

but its my mums policy and im only named on the policy

loophole FTW
 
was always insured with quinn

they will insure you if your already with them and tranfer your insurance over to your new car
 
I just bought an ek9 about a month ago and im 19 with a full licence and 2 years no claims bonus and im insured with Quinn for 1800e. Thats under my own name aswel...its only third party fire and theft though but it still gets me on the road
 
im nearly 19, when im 21 insurance on a ek9 is still near 2k so im going to buy an eg next year

yea i agree with you there lad!! its ridiculous!! i just transferred my insurance from my old car to the ek9 and it wasnt too bad but i dont know if they are goin to jack it up a serious amount when my renewal comes....does anyone know anything bout this??

no my parents only have one car and it is under my dads name and his insurance policy

my mum is the named driver on my car and the policy holder

why pay maybe 2k more on insurance to be the policy holder and probably only TPFT
 
why do i get silly quotes of 7k cant find anything around 2k otherwise il have an ek9 by now
 
say your mam looks well driving around in that...fastest women in northwest of Ireland so......

Do you ever get **** of the old bill if you get stopped because of the way you have it set up like.. if they say who owens the car and you say..
