EJ9 less than 2k
EK4 less than 3k
PreF EK9 less than 4k
Face EK9 less than 5k

now this is general and obviously there are exceptions, but roughly id say these are pretty fair these days.

:naughty:

But i'v lowered it with alloys and an induction kit. It now makes 200bhp. Dose that not bump the price up

Yeah agreed generally,

I'd like to think I'd get between 5-6g for mine

00 Ek9 Facelift 88k with a few tasty mods...

Its seriously immaculate though with just a few chips on front end

I would of thought mine was worth 5.5k its a pre face light weight/ race base with mods and 67k miles
I think its fair also still got loads of aftermarket parts and oem parts including the orinal gathers tape and cd player lol

Everyone is in denial about how little their car is worth at the moment. Just wish i'd waited a year longer before splashing 6K on mine.

SO many factors effecting value.
A Yellow ek9 just sold for near £7k not on original paint.
So under £5k is wrong instantly?
Most have dropped cause most are dogs. :)
MOT, tax, mileage, history, parts, how original etc.
All effect value.

I don't agree you can generalise that much :)

A car is worth its weight in scrap metal... and this is LITERALLY what they are worth, the only reason we pay more for them is because of human emotion...

Think as a guide its spot on. Of course there are exceptions, he said that, but covers 90% of cars. Even yellow ones.

This is how I see people justifying the price of their car's at the moment.

EJ9 less than 2k
EK4 less than 3k/ Jordan/Import - 4k-3.5k
PreF EK9 less than -5.5k
Face EK9 less than 6500k
EK9 lightweight (The most basic type R) 6500k+

I think quite a lot of people are denial about the price of the EK9 at the moment; most people bought there's when it WAS worth the above...and then try to get away with selling it at the same price, with higher miles; obviously with an induction kit as this makes up the £1000 price gap.

Annoys me slightly when people say "still no offers" when they have a 13-14 year old bog standard car with 100k+ and are trying to sell for 6000k+

And Topher your car is too cheap...get the price put up ;)

Mods do not add value.

I think you mean to say that the mod itself does not add to the car, the original value of the mod itself ;)

and im not in denial my ek9 is the one of the cheapest in the country on sale at this moment.
